Placeholders in Expand
- Placeholder show in the editor rather than the actual detail, which means it cannot be sense checked before the ticket is submitted – this is not how macros work. Also the default {{ticket.requester.name}} is nonsensical (i.e. it would result in an email that starts “Dear Alan Gibbons,“. I cannot find an option to amend to the more appropriate {{ticket.requester.first_name}} which would give you “Dear Alan,“.
- In a similar vein {{agent.name}} results a blank upon submitting - {{current_user.first_name}} is what we use in all our macros
US spellings
honour, colour, apologise, jewellery & metre are just five examples of words that have been “corrected” to the US spelling by Expand, Make formal & Make friendly – all are quite common words that we use here - We have to change to English(UK) method
