Hi all, I've just converted my first Dashboard over from Insights into Explore. Was quite a challenge to get my head around all the new features, but so far I'm liking it, and far better than having to jump into Good Data.

I have one issue in trying to format my results in MINUTES into a custom HOURS & MINS format.

For example, I would like to display/format my Update handling time (mins) metric to display in Hours and Mins as per my screenshot:



In the old Insights we used a string formatter like this: 
{{{||0}}} h {{{0.0166666666666|60.|00}}} m

If this was in EXCEL (and results were in hours first) I could convert with something like this:
=IF(HOUR(C4)>0, HOUR(C4) & " h","") & IF(MINUTE(C4)>0, MINUTE(C4) & " m","")

Given so much of our SUPPORT ticketing metrics are measured in minutes, I'm hoping the product team may add a few more possibilities for displaying time when converted from the standard format.

I also wish this was available.

Often I may go to copy/paste text from an email or elsewhere, that has different color text etc, but pasting it in removes it all, and renders it useless.

Very big YES PLEASE from us.

Thanks for the update @Christian.

 

+1 from me for publishing articles to multiple sections.

Developing a SaaS application myself I understand all of your reasoning, and it most definitely is far more complicated to build something that gives all customers what they want.

The technical limitations surrounding components like access restrictions is a big one for many I agree. Not for me, but I also want those customers to get what they need also!

 

Thanks for setting up a specific team to investigate this capability. Look forward to enjoying whatever you manage to build for all.

Have you had any word on if we will be able to wipe the custom date field via automation without running into the "undefined NaN, NaN" problem?

+1 to the idea and all comments.

It would be nice to be able to print to PDF if needing to send to a client, and obviously not show the internal private comments.
