Hello, I am trying to add a banner on my Help centre. So I copy pasted html header on top of the code in the dedicate section. Where should I copy paste the css and js? I tried copy-pasting on top of the code and nothing is coming out in the preview.

Hello and thank you for your help! The thing is that I need the community to be activated but only visible to internal agents in this moment. Later on I will try to extend it for a specific user segment. It would be a great improvement if you can restrict the visibility of the community by user segment, and NOT only posts visibility, but the entire community. For the moment I will remove the community button from the code as it was suggested.

Is it possible to hide the community button in the header of the homepage?

We are in a testing phase and we do not want our end-users to see it for the moment.

If possible could anyone share a code example?

Ok I was thinking exactly the same, so even I restrict the topics I cant restrict the community itself.

 

It would be nice to have this possibility in the future. In the meantime I will try to figure out an alternative solution.

Thank you for your reply!

I saw the article but what I need to do is different.

 

I have different user-segments accessing the Help Centre. I want to offer to some of them the community feature, let's say as a "premium feature" just for this one user-segment, but I do not want the other users to see the community button available when they access the Help centre.

 

Do you think this is possible? I hope I have made myself clear.

Hello everybody,

 

I would like to test the community feature on our Zendesk Guide centre but in order to test and also for business reason I need to restrict the view of the community to a user-segment only.

 

I am not talking about restricting specific content but the whole community should be visible to a specific user-segment and most importantly not the others.

 

Do you know if it's possible to do this?
