+1 to customizing these emails! The ability to edit these emails through triggers (as ticketing emails are handled) would be a vast improvement for our end user experience.

We would like the ability to customize follower emails for sections/topics/articles/posts in both guide and gather. 

The ‘trigger’ functionality for sending ticketing emails has been very useful, and allowed us enough customization to make the system work for our company. However, being unable to edit the content of follower emails has made it difficult for end users to tell what the email is pertaining to at first glance (and many won't open an email if the subject line doesn't make sense). 

Being able to customize content by setting branding in the subject line or introductory sentence would greatly improve our users' forum experiences. 

Is this feature in the roadmap? Are there workarounds?

I see many other users have posted regarding this shortcoming but have not seen any official news about it.

We would like to provide users with filters and sorting for search results in our help center. Examples of filters/sorting would be by date, alphabetically, by relevance, or by upvote count. 

 

Currently, users are only provided search results by relevance, which often includes very old forum posts that may not be relevant anymore. For reference, our users are primarily technicians and salespeople who require the most up-to-date information. 
 

This is a frequently occurring issue and causes frustration for our users, who have requested improved search functions. If the search logic were open to our developers, we may be able to create a diy solution, but since it is more or less a ‘black box’, we are at a loss of how to improve this without major performance issues (as we'd have to develop on the client-side). 
 

We are not currently using a workaround for this issue, though if we find one I will update this post. 
 

We would like to see both sorting and filtering options in the help center search for guide/gather, that include sorting/filtering by date, author, relevance, and votes.
