Make mandatory the upload of attachments following a specific answer to a ticket field

    Hi Bertrand!

    We don't have the ability to make attachments required on tickets, but I think you can set up something similar to what you're describing using the Conditional Fields app. This app is available on Professional and Enterprise plan levels.

    What I'm envisioning is setting up a few custom checkbox fields that ask users to upload the type of file that should be attached for each menu selection. You can make that field required, so that users can't submit the ticket until they've checked the box. It won't make the attachment required, but it will give them instructions to add the attachment, which may help make sure that most of your tickets are submitted with the documents you need.

    I had the need to require an attachment for a particular dropdown option, and was able to do it with a custom checkbox and some jquery code. You can find my tip at To require three attachments, the code could be modified to select the checkbox only if at least three attachments have been uploaded.
