Google Calendar Integration
Hi Team,
I see 5 years ago you were considering Google calendar integration. How is that coming along? My company is currently in the process of upgrading machines by department and have two immediate needs off the back of this:
1 - To log a ticket for each machine upgrade
2 - To send a calendar invite to the user, to remind them of the impending upgrade and send an alert on the day.
If you have another solution for this outside of Google Apps I'd be more than happy to hear it.

As of right now a Google Calendar integration is not on our roadmap.
We have a number of integrations available for IT asset management that might help you with this project. You can find more information about those here: https://www.zendesk.com/apps#it-management
You may also be able to use the Task ticket type in conjunction with Automations to set up a similar workflow as well. It wouldn't add anything to a calendar, but you'd be able to set up email reminders to go out to the folks that need them.

@Jessie I'm looking for a way to add our google calendar into Zendesk. We use the Gcal for scheduling phone and chat shifts. I'm not finding anything that works in that direction. While there do seem to be the opposite, pushing out to GCal. Do you know of any workarounds or plans in the works for this functionality?

We have not seen anything about GCal on the roadmap. I'd encourage you to detail your needs in a new post in the Product Feedback topic. If you haven't created one before, here's how to write an effective feedback post.
