Allow Reordering of Triggers

    Hi Zac,

    The best way to handle ordering now with triggers is by using tag conditions for the subsequent trigger. Have you tried this already?

    I think this feature needs to be added because I am needing to recreate all of my triggers again

    When I add a trigger it appears at a random location in the list.

    Hi Chris,

    No update on this and it currently isn't on our next 6 month roadmap. Unfortunately, you will need to use tags for sequencing purposes.

    Just ran across this - is this still an issue?  Meaning, out of our entire list of chat triggers, the order is important? 

    So, what? Everytime a new trigger is created, all of the old ones have to be re-created in a specific order?

    Or is this referring to the order of actions within any specific trigger?

     

    If it literally refers to the actual list of account triggers, I can't imagine why this wouldn't be prioritized.  That becomes unmanageable. (but, since I've had trigger issues that have yet to be resolved with the assistance of ZD support.... I have to wonder)

    Hi Shawn,

    The order of triggers does not matter, but the order of the trigger conditions does.

    We have not changed the triggers edit page to allow for the ability to change the order of the trigger conditions and actions within the UI.

    Great, thank you - I didn't think it would have made sense to require a specific order if the user was not able to rearrange!  I did figure out that the order of conditions was an issue - thank you for confirming!
