    Hi there John,

    Thanks for sharing your question. Unfortunately, what you want to achieve is not possible.

    It wouldn't be as easy as replacing one domain, we have many different domains that are region specific (based on your visitor's locations) and your workaround would ultimately not work.

    We have no plans to support this workflow in the immediate future.

    A potential solution may be for us to ask our clients to whitelist zendesk chat services.  Our clients whitelist by IP.  Can you say which IPs zendesk chat uses for regions that include California and Texas?

    I'm assuming zendesk chat uses different IPs from those listed here.

    Hi John,

    The widget servers have IPs (different from the Support dashboard serves in link mentioned) that change and we spin up new servers over time. It would require your clients to constantly update and change their IP whitelist based on whatever server they happen to connect to based on the session (becomes more complicated if they are using a VPN service).

    It is not guaranteed that the visitor would connect to the same server each time or on return visits.

    The best recommendation we can give is get them to whitelist traffic from the following domains:

    *.zopim.com

    *.zopim.io

    The domain whitelist recommendation actually came from the senior dev ops manager. We can't provide you a range of IPs to whitelist.
