When we have chat agents available, we don't want customers to have to use the Help Center search bar first before seeing the chat button. This requires us to manually turn Help Center search OFF on the widget settings.
When no chat agents are online (outside of hours or all invisible status) we do want the Help Center search to be used first, then we have to turn Help Center search back ON.
It would be great to have more control over the widget settings instead of all or nothing.
