Zendesk side conversation with slack and reporting
Is it possible to retain side conversations in zendesk if they gets deleted from Slack after a certain period of time?
Also is it possible to create a report based on tickets that have side conversations? Is there a pre build metric for it or should we assign a tag from a trigger whenever side conversations are done on a ticket?

Currently the deletions are propagated, however, our Product Managers are looking into possibly having an option to toggle this on or off.
As for reporting on side-conversations, you'll want to look at tagging these tickets as there's no built in metrics to include this data.
