    There is not a limit to the amount of triggers that you can have in the system. As you recognized, it is possible to run into performance issues but there isn't a set amount where that might happen. I have seen customers have upwards of a thousand triggers without an issue. The real issue, and the reason why we generally recommend not going that high, is because from a workflow perspective it can get easy to forget which triggers conflict with other triggers, etc.

    That being said, we understand everyone's workflow is different. If you start to experience issues we would encourage you to reach out to our support team so we can try to determine the cause of the behavior.
