We store various information in the Org fields, such as which Account Manager is assigned to the account, what level of service they purchased, etc.
I would like to enable certain Roles to be able to edit this information. However, the current Role permissions is far to broad. There is only one checkbox to control create/edit both Groups and Organizations.
We need separate Role permissions for Groups and Orgs, and separate Role permissions for create vs edit.
I'm quite comfortable with our Support team or Account team editing the fields for the Orgs they are engaged with, but cannot extend the permissions to provision new Orgs, nor make changes to our Groups.

I'm facing yet another merger among our customers, and I have close to 300 end users across these Orgs, with active tickets. As it stands, we have no clean way of handling this.
This is a major shortfall, and we are beyond overdue for an update on status here.

IMO, this is related to the other long standing thread on customer subscriptions here: https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/203447356-Help-Center-Allow-End-users-to-Subscribe-to-Organization-Updates
There are multiple ways this could be resolved:
- Allow for any email to be entered for adding to CC in Triggers (making sure responses on thread will go to the existing ticket, not a new one - same as it would if an agent manually added a CC).
- Bring back the capability for End Users to Subscribe to all Org tickets (this still works for those that subscribed before Help Center, but no new subscribers can be added)
- Allow Admins to subscribe End Users to their Org updates in the profile settings

Another +1 for adding a simple text field for CCs to the triggers. I have triggers set up for each org we are working with, and they want their org PMs to be copied on all tickets, but as of now, the ability to CC a particular end user email is not possible.
