It would be useful to be able to add ticket audit events (https://developer.zendesk.com/documentation/ticketing/reference-guides/ticket-audit-events-reference/) along with bulk import api (https://developer.zendesk.com/api-reference/ticketing/tickets/ticket_import/#ticket-bulk-import).

 

Other ticketing systems generally have lifecycle events associated with events that are not part of the ticket itself. e.g. Ticket was reprioritized, closed/opened, escalated, etc. Generally you want to retain these when migrating to a new system. However the bulk import api doesn't currently support added these during import and the ticket audit events api is ready only implying they are only generated once ticket are in Zendesk.

 

Ideally you have import these along with ticket comments or at least add them after they are migrated with the ticket audit event api.

The zendesk-jira integration seems to add it back if you remove it sometimes. I think the trigger will just cause way too many updates each time it's added and removed.

Is there a way to configure jira to not allow zendesk to add labels to workaround this?
