Trouble with the Jira ZenDesk integration
I feel like I've been reading myself in circles on the JIRA - Zendesk integration articles and haven't found a solution to my issue here...
I turned on the integration and it is working to create, update, and link tickets. However in Jira, I see this error:
I am signed in to zendesk with administrator privileges, but my Jira user account is not a Jira admin. Is that a requirement?
Where can I see my "linked Zendesk support account"? The email address for Jira and Zendesk in this case are the same.

Hi Lorraine,
Yes, you need to be a global administrator in JIRA. Go to Systems -> Manage Add-on, you need to add"Zendesk support for JIRA" add-on, install it, when you install it, you will see a window pop up asking for Zendesk Account.
Thanks.

Thanks for jumping in so fast, Jennifer!

Thanks Jennifer that's helpful! Does that mean that all of my Zendesk agents and product engineers need to be JIRA admin to see Zendesk tickets in JIRA?

Hi Lorraine,
No. Everyone who can log in your JIRA can see the ticket in JIRA screen. You are the only one who need JIRA Global admini permission.
Thanks

Hi Lorraine,
You might want to look at the platform DragonGlass. It has connectors for both jira and zendesk. It extracts data and you can also search and create analytics across data stores without having to deal with the hassle of multiple engines and account privileges. Hope this helps!
Thanks,
