Is There a Way to Display the Follow Button on Articles When Not Logged In to Help Center?
RespondidaIs there a way to display the follow button on the section and article page when the user is not logged in?
When a user logs in, he or she is able to follow stuff by clicking on a button. I would like to be able to display these buttons even if the user isn't logged in. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks.

Hi Jazon!
It's not possible to follow and article or post without being logged in to the Help Center; without the login information, the system doesn't have any way to determine where the notification emails should be sent when a thread is updated.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi, sorry for bumping an old thread, but I'm revisiting this issue.
Would it be possible to still display the follow button when not logged in, redirect to a user login page, and back to the original page once the user logged in?

Hey Jazon!
It might be possible to do this using some custom JS, but I'm afraid that's out side my purview here in Support. We have some pretty great code gurus here in the Community though; they might be able to give you more insight!
