Import User ID From Different App?

    It can be done, If they are logged on via your SSO then just set their user id on the Zendesk profile as a external id then it will be on every ticket they create

    Is there any way that you know of to capture that information without the user signing in to Zendesk at all? 


    Ideally, the order of operations would be:

    1. User signs in to our app.

    2. User taps in-app link to access our web-based Zendesk support center.

    3. ***We somehow capture that user's ID related to our app***

    4. When that user submits a Zendesk ticket through our web-based support center, append that ID to the ticket.

    Hello Matt,

    It could be possible to capture the User's App Id and include it in Zendesk ticket.

    As per your flow,

    1. In 2nd step, you should pass the User's App Id to Zendesk's help center.
    2. Then you should save/hold that Id somehow (maybe by using cookies).
    3. And when user submits the ticket, then pass that Id along with ticket data.
