How can I display the promoted article in Web widget?

Do you want all promoted articles to show there, or just promoted articles relevant to search results?

Dear Jessie, I want to show the promoted articles relevant to search results. But at the first screen of web widget, it's just a search box. I want to show the most popular articles there which have been set up are "promote article" in article setting. This matter can suggest to my customers some useful articles, they can see right away, or they want to search depending on them. Thank Jessie.

Hi Nhan,
There's a feature of the web widget called Contextual help that lets the widget surface pre-loaded with article results, it sounds like this is what you're looking for.
There are a number of ways to achieve this, but I'm not aware of promoted articles being one of them (sounds like a great idea though), we use a particular label on the articles we want to surface when the widget opens.Hope that helps you out.
