    4 years later, this is still a very active thread. The option to see who it is you're chatting with is incredibly important. Even if it is unreliable, it's better to know something about the person than nothing.

    Could you take a second look in finding out if this is possible? Perhaps in an upgrade of a plan, it's incredibly valuable information.

    Thanks for being passionate for this over the years. Unfortunately, it isn't something we are planning to support again any time soon.

    Your best bet is to use something like Clearbit and build an app inside of Chat to do the IP address lookup so you can give your agents more context on who they might be talking to.
