    Hello John,

I would use the brand signature for that, under Manage > Brands.

You can use markdown to include the image:

Syntax is like this (it's all on one line):

    ![Alt Text](Image URL)

    With kind regards,

    Sebastiaan

    Hi,

Is it possible to add GIF along with signatures?

Absolutely! However, not all email clients will display a moving gif (if that's what you're thinking), so be sure to see what it looks like in something like MS Outlook.

In that case where should I store the gif and how should i use them? I need to add an url to redirect on click of  gif also

It could be from any url, but I'd recommend you upload it to your theme assets.

Guide admin > Customize design > View theme > Edit code > Add asset.

You can use the url as per Sebastians instructions above.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi,
I don't get this to work properly. What I'm I doing wrong?

    Video: https://www.loom.com/share/9a236f5da4e74130a72737b05048fe66

Another question, is it possible to add a link to the image? My idea is to use this banner as a communication tool where we should show new features (B2B) and would like to link from the email to a web page.

    Best regards,
    Niklas

    Hi,

I would like only some of our agents to have a logo in their signatures and I was wandering if I can do it through Placeholders.  For some reason when I input the logo placeholder (from dynamic content) in the agent signature it is only visible as a code in the email.

Is it possible to use placeholders in the signature?

    Thanks for help

    Hello Ewa Kondratowicz,

What you've described should doable via formatting the agent signatures via markdown. I've gone ahead and included a couple of articles that break down this process in more detail.

Is there a way to add this to the left of the signature and not under/above/inline?

    Mine looks like this

But I want it to look like outlook:

    Hi Kyle,

You should be able to accomplish this by making your entire signature block an image and then using markdown with your signature itself - something like this ![Kyle's Signature](www.atg.com/images/kylesig.jpg)

    ![Alt Text](Image URL)

For this to work you would need to remove the "Brand Signature"

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Brandon,

Thanks for the suggestion. The only downside I see is I will have to create links for each agent with their signature. I will also have to find a way to make there be a link to that image.

Yes that would be a limitation!  I would suggest posting your suggestion on the support product feedback page: https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/topics/360000029867-Product-Feedback-Support

I could see this being valuable to many customers.

    Hi Brandon,

I posted it! Thanks for the suggestion.

We are keeping the image below for now because it looks better then no image, but this would be a nice feature.

Does the image must have a certain format? Are there specific requirements?

I've tested jpg, png and gif - though some email clients may have trouble with animated gifts.  As a general rule I would stick to smaller file sizes.  Other than that I'm not aware of any specific requirements.

New to configuring zendesk. I can use markup to reference the image but someone above mentioned uploading the image to be part of the site's brand? Not seeing how to do that.

If you go to the admin button (little gear symbol), then go down to Manage>Brands, you can create a brand that has a signature area.

Thanks! I have a brand created, I just can't figure out how to include the embedded image using markdown. The embedded image is the logo I provided when setting up the brand. I'm assuming it'll be something like {{logo}} but I can't find a list of all the default markdown fields.

Thank you! Now my problem is the image I uploaded for the branding is super tiny. Original is 37k, what gets saved is 1.2k. Minuscule! Not sure how to make it save at a larger size.

    Hi Gregory Muir -

That doesn't sound right... Can I ask where you've uploaded this image to?
Also worth noting, you can use an image that is hosted on another website.

Sure. I'm using the branding module.

    1. Open branding module.

    2. Upload image to module. It says it's accepted with the correct image size displayed.

    3. Close module and reopen it.

    4. See image size is now showing 1.2k or 1.1k.

See screenshot. that's after I reopen it and see the size is small.

We are on the trial software at the moment because the paperwork is literally in processing for the actual purchase. Don't know if this is a limitation of the trial software.

Gregory Muir - Got it!  This makes sense and is actually the expected behavior...

The 'logo' associated with the brand in this area is actually more appropriately a 'favicon,' used internally to give the branding more visibility within Zendesk for your support agents.  This surfaces in places alongside the brand name in places like the ticket brand drop-down menu, the phone dialer widget, etc.

For your agent signature, you'd want to use a file hosted somewhere at full resolution, and then link to it in the signature line itself.  For example, here is the Amazon logo from HowStuffWorks.com

    {{agent.signature}}

    AWS Gear
    1-800-AWS-GEAR

    ![Amazon Logo](https://cdn.hswstatic.com/gif/amazon-1a.jpg)

Hope this points you in the right direction!

    Brandon
