Credit card numbers are not redacted in Zopim chat?

    Hi there Lori,

    Hope you are having a great week! Currently, credit card redaction is not something Zopim offers and is only something Zendesk added recently. 

    No immediate plans this year to add credit card redaction but we will update you if that changes for 2016. If we do build it next year, would you be interested in beta testing it for us?

    With all of the credit card fraud, this is a must. Our current chat software allows for secure transmittal and redaction of sensitive information.

    I definitely vote this one up. We don't want our customers submitting CC information via chat because it isn't redacted, but from time to time they do. Ideally the chat transcript would show this data as being starred out. Thank you for considering adding CC redaction.

    Hey there! I was wondering what the status is on this feature now, considering Zendesk has released a new version of the chat feature recently. It would be an incredibly useful feature!!

    Hi Ariel,

    Nothing on the immediate roadmap (next 6 months) but we are researching how we can approach redaction in a similar way to the Support product in the long run. Once we have something to share, we will let you know here.
