Explore tables grouping consecutive row data vs. showing all data

    To add to this, when there truly is a blank value in a cell, it's impossible to know whether it's blank or has the same value of the row above it without looking at the ticket on its own.

    Elizabeth Toy - are you creating these reports in Explore? If so, can you show me a screenshot or provide instructions on how your configured this? I am having the hardest time trying to create simple data tables like this in Explore

    Taylor Wilson yep, my screenshot is from an Explore Query. Have you read this Zendesk article? it'll have more detail.

     

    for me, it's usually just a matter of getting the right attributes added to the right spots (along the left). for a table like the one I have above, you want everything to be in Rows. example:

     

    however, you could also create a more matrix-like table with one attribute in the Column and one in the Row. example:

     

    and obviously, make sure you click the Visualization Type icon along the right side and choose Table. 🙂
