    It looks like this is a bug related issue that is currently being investigated by our developers. I'm going to create a ticket for both of you so you'll receive updates when available.

    Is there an update about this? Because I received a reply from the Support team that this is expected behaviour and not a bug?

    I hope you can clarify this and if there is a solution for this.

    Hi, is there any temporary solution for this issue? Since the majority of my users send an image attachment, it will cost me much time to manually convert it one by one.

    Hi Bruce -

    To clarify, the Dev team is still investigating this issue, but based on what they've found so far, it seems it may not be possible to change this behavior and is a current limitation of Whatsapp. This isn't yet definitive but that's where things stand at this point in time.
