Hold music can be updated for everything...except outbound calls on External numbers

    Hi EJ Gennrich,

    Sorry you're having trouble!  After reviewing this with the team, it does seem that there is currently no way to adjust the hold music associated with outbound external numbers.  This is a good suggestion though!

    When you have a moment, I would suggest putting this up for review in the Talk Product Feedback Forum.

    Our team is scaling rapidly, so we often have less-tenured newly-hired agents who might put on hold an outgoing call to ask a colleague a question. Another common scenario is if what's discussed on an outgoing call introduces the need to escalate the call to another team, that end user will also get put on a brief hold. 

    It really is not uncommon on any given call (incoming or outgoing) to need to place the end user on hold for typical support service.
