    Thanks for reaching out!

    As Zendesk Talk is based in browser we have no ability to solve for this issue.

    You mentioned Aircall can solve for this, the reason being that Aircall are not browser based and require you to install software on your computer to allow it to manipulate these local settings.

    This is why this remains not planned. If at some stage in the future we decide to launch a desktop app, then we could revisit this request.

    Michael Rieder this is a well known request. Please upvote this post. Even though it states as Not planned.
    I urge you to ask your team members to upvote the post too, as this will increase the importance to the Talk team.

    If you ask me, it's a long overdue feature.

    Hi Joey,

    I have installed Aircall from the Zendesk marketplace in my Zendesk account. So there is no software installed on my computer. Nevertheless the Aircall app is able to signal inbound calls as described.

    I would propose to make a technical deepdive in this feature. Feel free to test it with Aircall; it shows that it can be done.
