The last time you made a presentation using week of year as a number instead of date starting?

Hi Chad Hanna, if you want to see a year-on-year comparison of tickets created by week it should be possible to do this without a custom metric:

    • Metric = COUNT(Tickets)
    • Columns = Ticket created - Week of year
    • Rows = Ticket created - Year

You can use Shift/Ctrl to select multiple years from the row selector, and if you don't want your executives to be able to change the years you can hide the row selector completely by going to Chart Configuration > Row Selector and then unchecking the Display Row Selector option.

You missed the point of my question.  I want them to be able to edit the time frame.  The problem is the axis values.

Sorry Chad - will it always be year-on-year by week that you're interested in? If that's the case then you can add your query to a dashboard and add a Data filter that allows the executive to select the weeks they're interested in:

We've only been setup since January.  We are trying to compare weeks in February to the current state.  It takes a lot of deduction to figure out what week 6 means or week 7 means. There is an extra unnecessary step to understand the chart of what week was this again?  See the below.  Doing this means you can not edit date ranges so it is stagnant to a dashboard.

Ah, it sounds like you need a Week of Month attribute maybe? You could do it by day of month, if you wanted a comparison. You can use the Ticket Created - Date attribute (so you can use date filters), and then change the format of the date to Day of Month or whatever else makes sense to you.
