    This continues to come up as an issue for our agents as well.  In a business-to-business scenario they are working on many tasks besides answering calls and emails.  They are coordinating logistics of deliveries, contacting sales reps...  The agents have many applications open on the desk so it is always obvious when there is an incoming call.  A better mechanism to alert is desirable.

    We've looked at a ton of different hardware to overcome this issue as well to no avail.  No one wants to wear a headset all day long. And no one has the time or screen real estate to have the app front and center at all times.

    Same issue here, and it could very well be a deal breaker for my company!
