Hi, My name is Shawna Wolverton, and I’m the Head of Product here at Zendesk. One of my favorite things in my 20 years of experience in enterprise software product management is building relationships with customers — I love seeing how you use Zendesk technology and what experiences it makes possible.
That’s why I’m so excited to refresh the product feedback experience in the community. Since joining Zendesk, I’ve had the honor of meeting with hundreds of our partners, customers, and prospective customers. I appreciate hearing about the many wins customers have using Zendesk, their desires for the future of the product, and yes, the problems they face getting the most out of our services. Those conversations, and the ones that continue here in the Zendesk Community forums, are the cornerstones to all of the work we do to develop features, functions, and tools that best serve your needs.
I think it’s really important that everyone in our product organization deeply understands our users’ needs and perspectives. This is why we’re recommitting to engaging in the community to hear your feedback. We encourage you to share your thoughts in the product feedback topics in this community — not just feature requests, but tell us how you’re using the products, what challenges and successes you’re seeing. Our product managers are now dedicating time every week to reading your feedback, asking questions, and engaging in conversation with you. This blog is here to add to those conversations. I’ll be back a few times a year to give my perspective, and you’ll have opportunities to hear from other leaders in the product organization at Zendesk.
