We often experience formatting issues with our customers and users when copying code or editing comments and posts. Markdown support would alleviate this.
I agree, any chance to implement the newest version of WYSIWYG text editor that is used in tickets and articles?

We are planning to release a new version of WYSIWYG editor for posts and comments in upcoming days. It will be available for Templating API v3. Read more About Guide templating versions. Please follow Zendesk updates and provide us feedback if the copy & pasting problem is solved in Templating API v3.
