Calculating Business Days

Hi,

Does anybody know how to calculate business days between a tickets "Created date" and "Resolution Date"? I need to report on this. I see "full resolution - business hours" but nothing to do with business days. Right now I pull the two dates and have to calculate in Excel. I'd love to be able to NOT have to manipulate the data in Excel.

A workaround is to divide the value of the full resolution time business hours metric by 24 to get the the number of business days. Here's a sample metric formula:
VALUE(Full resolution time - Business hours (hrs))/24

The above does not take into account weekends for those who do not operate a 24hr support team i.e. business days are only Mon-Fri, calculation should not take into account Sat and Sun.

Thank you for your feedback! You’re absolutely correct—the business hour metric will depend on the specific settings you have configured for your account. If your business operates Monday through Friday and does not provide 24-hour support, weekends will not be included in the calculation since the business hour metric will depend on the business hour you have set on your account.
