Hi Mindy,

I believe you're still on Zendesk Chat and not using Messaging in the Agent Workspace. Is that correct?

I did test some summaries on my internal account on Chat (not messaging) tickets, and things seemed to be working A-OK. Is this issue present on all chat tickets or only certain ones? Does the ticket have a public transcript (not internal note) visible when attempting to perform the summary? My tickets had very short transcripts and the summarize tool still provided a summary (although very short).
