Bryce Petrick comentou,
Has there been a status update on this? This has been requested 5 YEARS AGO. https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4409216997274-Talk-agents-remain-available-after-missed-call?input_string=Talk%20-%20Agents%20Remain%20Available%20After%20Missed%20Calls
Can you link to the announcements page?
The page found here: https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/sections/4405298833818-Announcements has a search that specifies "search updates" but when actually searching something, it searches everything else, which makes it useless.

I appreciate the confirmation Wilfred, however it isn't about "just playing my music" through my laptop speakers. Even if that were the case, if I have spotify playing through chrome, I'd run into the same problem.
I was specifically referring to separating the RINGTONE audio device and the actual CALL audio device, which you confirmed isn't an available functionality.

Bryce Petrick criou uma publicação,
In my current VOIP software, I have it configured so when I receive a call, it rings to my *default audio device* (laptop speakers), however when I answer the call, it uses my default *communications devices* (3.5mm headset plugged in via my docking station).
This allows me to not be forced to wear my headset every minute of every work day, as I can hear the phone ring via my laptop speakers, put my headset on, and answer the call.
I cannot seem to replicate this with ZenTalk. It seems as if ZenTalk uses "default audio device", and that's it... meaning my only options are a) set my laptop speakers as my default audio device and then when I get a call, my laptop speakers ring, but when I answer the call, the audio from the call is also going through the laptop speakers, meaning whenever the user speaks, the mic picks up their voice and echo's it back to them (as well as mine), or b) I set my headset as the default audio device, and then EVERYTHING goes through my headset, requiring that I wear my headset all day every day or miss calls...
Even if I decided to use the Windows Advanced Sound Settings found under "App volume and device preferences", where it lets you set default audio devices to each individual application, I could theoretically always use Zendesk/talk from Edge (as I don't use it for anything else), however it still will ring/talk on the same device, I cannot seem to separate them.
Can anyone confirm if ZenTalk handles ALL audio as just "audio", or does it handle "audio" and "communications" differently? Does ZenTalk have any dedicated audio configuration options/settings? Has anyone been able to configure this correctly as mentioned above? Is this even a ZenTalk issue, or is it more of a Chrome limitation issue (chrome only handling audio, as compared to handling audio and communications differently?)
Thanks,
Bryce

Can someone point me in the direction of the ZenTalk audio settings/preferences? I'm not referring to chrome permissions to let ZenTalk use the mic/audio, but how to configure the devices in particular...

There has GOT to be a better way to handle this.
