In addition to the historical article feedback we provided here, our team has also noticed the following since joining the EAP:
- Some of our tables converted to HTML blocks. When we encounter this, we've been unlinking them, and they revert to tables.
- Some of our bulleted lists converted to HTML blocks. When we encounter this, we've been unlinking them, and they revert to bulleted lists.
- Copying and pasting text is very sensitive. Any rich text formatting carries over unless you “Paste and Match Style." We've mostly noticed this with text background and copy color. This has been tricky to navigate as we typically draft new articles or major revisions in Google docs for cross-functional visibility with other teams who don't have Admin access. It takes us longer to refine formatting in Guide when we do this.
- Copying and pasting tables (i.e., from Google docs) creates extra padding in the table's border in Guide. Unfortunately, changing the table or cell properties width to 1px doesn't fix the issue in Guide. We've been creating the table again in Guide and then copying over text from our docs cell-by-cell.
- There's no visibility into which Heading is selected anymore. We've been using the Add link > Heading tool/menu to verify Heading selections in articles.
- We used to be able to insert images in one row side-by-side next to each other horizontally. Now, images can only be stacked vertically. We've been using tables with a 0px border width to work around this.

We've noticed that a lot of our articles that were published before joining the EAP now have odd spacing and formatting. For example, extra carriage returns, spaces, and gaps in copy are prevalent in between headings, bulleted lists, paragraphs, etc. that weren't there before. We've had to manually go into articles and correct the odd spacing.
