Hi,
We are integrating Zendesk Chat into our mobile app, which is built as a web app wrapped in a Capacitor shell. In this setup, we are using the Zendesk Web Chat Client via an iframe with the following snippet:

Our app is available on the Play Store and App Store, and we currently have push notifications enabled for the native layer, previously used for the old Messenger (which will be retired once Zendesk Messenger is fully integrated).
We’re facing challenges in setting up push notifications for Zendesk Chat, as most available documentation covers the native Chat SDKs, which we think don’t apply to our case. However, we do have FCM and PEM keys that we can add via the Zendesk Admin UI and in our current push notification setup, we store device tokens in our database to send notifications.
Ideally, we want to know if there's an API that allows us to register these tokens and handle push notifications from Zendesk in our native app by extending our existing setup in Capacitor.
Could you please advise on the best way to enable and manage push notifications for Zendesk Web Chat in our hybrid setup? Is using Zendesk Chat SDK V2 the only way?
Reference: Enabling push notifications for the Chat SDK V2
Thanks in advance!
