I am currently using Intercom as my support system, and using Zendesk as my Help center. 

We want to switch the support to be in Zendesk, but I have a few concerns:

1. Intercom offers popup posts and banners I can place on my website - is it available here as well?

2. For people who used both systems- which is better in terms of API? meaning, if I want to record on Zendesk a certain activity from my platform ( like an item submission)- is it possible? 

 

Overall, would love to get feedback from people who used both - so I can make a more informed decision

    I have used Both systems, and Intercom's banner is not offered natively in Zendesk Help Center.  I have used aftermarket web sites that integrate well with Zendesk to create this functionality.

    zenplates themes for Zendesk is my personal favorite for customization.

    There are other customization templates in the Zendesk store that offer expanded functionality.
