Ctrl + Backspace removes entire line

As mentioned in the following post:

Ctrl + Backspace currently removes the entire line of text, which is incredibly inconvenient and annoying to people on windows. Could this please be fixed? It probably costs me 20 minutes daily. 

 

Ctrl backspace is supposed to remove just the last word (as it does here in the text box I am currently typing in)

    Hey Ian,

    I just did a test, I see that it removes only the last word.

    I'm sorry, I should have been more specific. This problem happens in the "side conversation" bar.
