Previewing a macro only displays the macro in plain text fallback?

1. Navigate to the agent workspace
2. Hit “Apply macro”
3. Select the eye icon to preview the macro
Window pulls up to display the Public Reply macro message and doesn't display the rich text links included in the macro. Only shows the plain text fallback. This confuses our agents! They want to be able to preview a macro to see what it contains but they think it doesn't contain the actual link they need when previewing due to this. They have to apply the macro instead to then see the rich text links included.
Is there a fix to this? Or is this just a feature that I would need to wait for an update to?

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. The eye icon should show both rich text and any links included in the macro. I would suggest opening up a ticket with support to see what is going on here. I believe this should be available to you. Please let me know if I am mistaken, thank you!.

I navigated here from an article discussing Previewing Macros, in which Zendesk engineers comments stated that the experience of being presented with the plaintext only version in the preview was expected, and that the poster of the issue should submit a feedback forum post here. Now I find the feedback forum post for this and it is stating that it is actually an account issue that requires support?
Is this an expected experience, or an issue?
