Embedded videos are blank in the article editor

When I embed videos in my articles, all I see is a blank box on the article editor page. 

I have to preview the draft of the article to play and check the video. In the previous experience, I could play the video within the article editor page to double-check that the video would play correctly. This was a better experience for me and for the other authors who publish articles in our help centre.
