were you guys able to get this issue resolved? i am having the same issues where the Classic Widget is slowing down my Wix website. I have a post up but haven't heard back from anyone relating this issue

Miranda Burford i saw you commenting on another forum talking about "connectOnPageLoad: false" which is where i applied this without much success. Could you help out or point me to someone that can?

We use the Zendesk Classic Widget within our site hosted on Wix. We link the Zendesk Widget via HTML code on the "Body - End" in our site.
We've been doing some site optimization and noticed the Zendesk Widget is slowing down our site significantly (specially on the mobile version).
From what we can see on speed tests, it looks like the Zendesk Widget has quite the JS load.
We've tried the solution found on the forums to implement "connectOnPageLoad: false" however it still causes our page speed to be not optimal. Could anyone please help me fix this issue with our site?
I have also attached a snippet of the current HTML being used on our site for Zendesk only.
