2-factor authentication on integrated apps like Instagram/FacebookBeantwortet
Hello Zendesk community,
So my company has been using Zendesk for a while now and have found it great for our needs with centralizing customer service communications between social media platforms.
Now this being said, we are looking to update and improve upon our login security on multiple platforms starting with Instagram/FB. We know Zendesk has it's own 2FA capabilities, but we were curious if there are any additional steps natively on Zendesk that we'd need to do in order to smoothly enable 2FA to our Instagram account, while retaining the functionality of the Zendesk integrations to our Instagram account. I hope all is well! Great to hear that you are having a good time using Zendesk! Enabling the 2FA in the Instagram account may interfere with the existing integration, so the best practice I would suggest is to delete and re-integrate the integration after performing this. You can find the instructions described here. Please, kindly look into best practices and information on Facebook/Instagram side before performing this action, as they might have relevant updated information and instructions on their side as well.
