Is it possible to include the chat messages in the application without using the widget ?

Hola, my design team came up with a concept where the chat discussions (customer typing messages and reading the messages written by an agent) would be natively in our application, instead of using any kind of Zendesk chat widget. Reading the API documentation I can't seem to find any feature that would allow me to do this. Could anyone confirm if such a feature is supported and if yes, where can I find the documentation ?
