Data Merge with Custom Fields

Feature Request Summary: 

Coming from Pipedrive, I could it incrediblely useful that custom fields were able to be {{Merged}} into emails and documents. 

Description/Use Cases: 

An example being for a deal, we like to keep track of shipping and advise the client of their tracking numbers once sent.

In Pipedrive, we had a "Consignment Number" custom field on each deal.

In an email, we were able to dynamically add this "{{ConsignmentNumber}} into emails, making sure we didn't have to double handle information. This also came in handy with their Merge to Google Docs feature. 

Business impact of limitation or missing feature:

Custom fields provide a significant amount of flexibility to fit different business sales needs, and the ability to merge this kind of data into emails, documents and more I feel brought a lot of value to the Pipedrive eco-system.

First of all, thank you for your feedback. 

Yes, currently you can use merge tags only for leads, and contacts. Right now we are doing some groundwork, that should enable us to add merge tags for deals in the future. However, I'm not able to give you any timelines. 

Nevertheless, I'll make sure that we'll take your feedback into account when planning our roadmap.
