Change default country pre-fix for callbacks in web widget
Answered
Posted Sep 24, 2021
Hi,
We are a swedish based company working with swedish customers with swedish phonenumbers.
And currently, if i as a customer want to request a callback through the web widget, i always need to change the prefix to sweden for it to work properly.
I've been looking around to see if there is a way to either
- set a default value and hide the drop down
or
- just set default value in the drop down.
Unfortunately it seem that almost nothing is editable on the talk part of the web widget at this point..

Hi Charlie,
Thank you for your post. You're correct. Unfortunately, it isn't possible to hide the dropdown or set a default value for the dropdown at this time. This is a great feature request though and I will make note of it for future consideration. Unfortunately, at this stage, I don't have a timeframe for when we may support this in the future.
Thanks,
- Miranda.

Any movement on implementing this one in the last 12 months? If you aim to offer your products to a global audience, you need to understand that defaulting to a US country code does not work for users outside the US. I've just come off a call with our agents moaning about having to change this each time they make an outbound call... would be a great improvement if ZD/ Twilio could implement this.
