Conditional Fields - further conditions
Answered
Posted Sep 10, 2021
Heya,
Heres my context for example:
Game A has Feature 1 and Feature 2
Game B only has Feature 1
I have only one Ticket Field for Feature. I want to avoid creating multiple Ticket Fields for Feature, as it's messy within Explore and in Ticket Views.
So using Conditional Fields - When user selects Game B and then they select Feature 2, I want text/notice to appear that 'Game B does not support Feature 2, please select another option' and to disable the ability to click Submit.
Is that possible in Zendesk or will I need a developer to create custom code?
If custom code is needed, is there a space here on Zendesk where we can reach out to developers?
Thanks in advance,
Mitch

Hey Mitch,
We have an app that directly meets your needs called Formset
The particular feature you are looking for is called dependant value fields. It allows you to sub-set one common field. This isn't supported by Zendesk's native conditional fields.
This Cloudset App is available on a subscription basis with a 30-day FREE trial.
