Guide dataset:Top upvoted and top downvoted article
Completed
Posted Sep 20, 2021
We are looking forward to creating below report in zendesk:
1.Top 5 upvoted article
2.Top 5 downvoted.
However, it looks like we do not have a metrics available to pull this data.
The metric(article vote), i beleive is sum of Upvote+downvote.
Hence we tried to create a custom metrics for the same. The challenge here is that we do not have any field to give only upvote or downvote
Kindly add in a metric that helps us to pull out these data's.

Hi @...,
Thanks for your feedback. You're right, the current dataset only provides the net votes (SUM of upvotes and downvotes) and calculating them separately is not yet possible.
This capability in the Knowledge Base dashboard is on our radar, and it is certainly one of our priorities to include in future improvements. Once I can share more concrete details regarding the roadmap, I will update this thread.
Kind regards!

Hi Jessica R,
Yes, in Q3 we will roll out the article upvotes and downvotes metrics. We're working on it as we speak, therefore I'm marking this thread "Planned".
Cheers!

Hi Orsolya Forster. Will there be the ability to report on votes by time span? For example, if I wanted to report on down votes in July, would I be able to do that?

Sy Sussman, yes you will be able to report on votes over time.
The release of this dataset update shifted over to Q4.
Cheers!

Hi everyone, yesterday we started releasing the knowledge base dataset improvements. You can read the announcement here, and you will all see the update no later than February 25. As always, I'm curious to hear your feedback on Guide reporting. This thread though, I'm marking as "Completed".
Cheers!
