Let me see the the Last Sync Time on a Dashboard

Posted Feb 11, 2021

When I’m looking at a dashboard, I want to know the last time the data was updated somewhere on the page. Only editors can see this information, from inside queries. Currently, my viewers have to DM someone with Editor access every time they need to ask when the data on the Dashboard last refreshed (typically when checking to ensure reporting matches output), which is not an ideal workflow.

This would be great! I hate going into Explore and trying to guess when that data was last updated! I sometimes need real time information and you cannot get that in Explore!

Hi CJ Johnson and all. This is a great request and I agree it would be great to have it in the product. In the meantime, this Explore recipe will give you an estimated last refresh timestamp in the dashboard - https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038309894

I hope that helps. Thanks!

We can create custom real-time reports integrated in Zendesk using Zendesk API even crossing any data set, including search, column sorting, excel download or excel periodic mailings.

Here there's an example showing real SLA when different agents interact with the same ticket, since this is not possible in Zendesk Explore.
