reCaptcha for new posts and comments in the Community

Hi,
We are experiencing intermitent episodes of massive spam in our Community. Then we have to activate moderation, which is a problem because needs our action and delays user activity. Filtering words is not a complete solution either.
Even there is reCaptcha in SignIn and opening a ticket... there is no reCaptcha possibility for new posts or comments in the Community.
In my opinion, reCaptcha in new posts and comments in the Community would be a great solution for spam.
It doens't seem a difficult to solution to implement. If zendesk doesn't want to add this feature for everybody, at least there could be a door open for our developers to add it as a customized solution.

Thanks for the feedback, David. We definitely hear you, and deal with many of these same issues here in the Zendesk Community. I've passed this feedback along to the product team that deals with spam and abuse prevention.

I'd be cautious about turning on Community without any kind of spam filter as well... is this something Zendesk is planning?

Hi Patrick -
Gather does have a spam filter as part of the product, as well as additional content moderation options which you can customize to pick up on the keywords that you want posts to be filtered on.
David's suggestions are additional ones that, as Kasper mentioned, the product team is looking into to further improve upon the current spam prevention capabilities.
