Answering offline customer

    Hi Jesper,

    Thanks for sharing feedback on how you would like to see the chat session work, especially with traffic coming from mobile devices.

    Currently, chats are based on a browser session and when that connection is ended explicitly or disconnected the visitor will be viewed as offline and agents cannot send messages to the visitor. 

    In the long term future, we are considering moving conversations less on the session itself and it could allow for sending messages when the visitor is not online or currently browsing your website. When we have more to share about this, there will be an announcement in the Chat community.
