Ability to turn off notifications for suggested people in the communication center is now live.

When you see a suggestion, you can click an "x" in the top right corner of the box, and turn them off for good.

Thank you everyone for sharing your feedback and use cases.

I agree! It is a very distracting feature, and should be something we can toggle off.

Agree 100% - if this isn't useful for you, it would be great to be able to turn this off.

Still getting annoyed by this feature from Zendesk, any updates on making this an option to opt out of?

    Hello everyone,

Jay, Emma, Emilyann, thank you for your feedback. I do agree opt out is needed. We'll be working on that soon, but can't yet provide you with an ETA. Will keep you updated.

Hello, I've been quite frustrated by the suggested contacts feature recently and just found this thread. Has there been any movement to create an option to toggle this feature off?

Hello Rudi, yes, the ability to toggle off the suggestions on the inbox tab is under development.

Can you share more on what is the most frustrating part about it? This will help us improve it further in the future. Also, do you often have new leads, or contacts coming in through email? How do you manage those at the moment?

Hi Jakub, that's great to hear! My team is looking forward to that feature rolling out.
The frustration comes from the poor user experience of dismissing the notification numerous time a day. We don't often have new leads coming in through email, so the suggestions are irrelevant. It slows down our workflow and is generally a nuisance.
