Add functionality to reply to rejected posts

Adding the functionality to reply to a post would provide a highly useful tool for giving customers guidance and even directing to community rules.

Quite shocked this hasn't had more traction. Would love a work around as our community is getting out of hand and the workaround for rejecting is creating tickets to email a rejection which is quite time consuming.

Thanks for sharing your feedback, Tom. If other users would like to see this sort of functionality, please up-vote Tom'a post and add your use cases in the comments below.

To offer the workarounds that we use in this community, we usually respond in the thread before removing the post, knowing that the user will receive a notification, and then delete the posts from the community. Another workflow we sometimes use is to open a ticket to communicate with the user.

Thanks a lot for this feedback, Tom. I heard the same idea expressed a few months ago at a customer visit. Very valid idea.
