Maintenance Mode for Guide
As a Zendesk admin, I would like to see a feature that would allow you to put the help center in a maintenance mode. When in this mode, changes to articles such as publishing or moving would not trigger email notifications to customers.

I'm not sure this is exactly what you're looking for but if you deactivate your Help Center it will make it no longer accessible to end users and will prevent them from being notified about articles being published. You can do this from Guide admin > Guide settings

Deactivating the help center would make it unavailable to our users and this is not ideal. I would like to have another option to temporarily prevent article notifications from being sent when changes are made to the articles.
